Jumping Manager FAQs - Defining the Numbers

Table of Contents:

Numbers listed on the Market table

There are three values (plus the price) that are listed on the Market table. Here is what they mean.

NOTE: All metrics are based only on 4* or 5* classes at 150 cm or above.

  1. Picked %: The percentage of Jumping Manager players who have selected that athlete for their team. It counts only those players who have selected a team for that specific competition.
  2. OBP: The opposition beaten percentage for the rider. This is the percentage of total opponents a rider has beaten at their last 40 non-team competitions.
  3. Clear %: Percentage of clear rounds from a rider’s last 40 Table A rounds.

Numbers listed for each rider

When you click on a rider's name, a few metrics come up. Here is what they mean.

NOTE: All metrics are based only on 4* or 5* classes at 150 cm or above.

  1. Opposition Beaten Percentage (OBP): The percentage of total opponents a rider has beaten at their last 40 non-team competitions.
  2. Avg Pens: The average number of penalties from a rider’s last 40 Table A rounds.
  3. Pen Avg Diff: How a rider’s penalties compare to the field, on average. Negative values are best because that means a rider incurs fewer penalties than their opponents (based on their last 40 Table A rounds).
  4. Clear %: Percentage of clear rounds from a rider’s last 40 Table A rounds.
  5. LE4 %: The less-than-or-equal-to-4 rate. This is the percentage of 0-4 penalty rounds from a rider’s last 40 Table A rounds.

Numbers listed for each horse

When you click on a rider's name, you can see the metrics for their horse(s). Here is what those metrics mean.

NOTE: All metrics are based only on 4* or 5* classes at 150 cm or above.

  1. Elo: A measure of a horse’s competitiveness based on the quality of opponents the horse has beaten and the quality of opponents the horse has lost to. The higher the better. The best horses have an Elo in the 700s.
  2. Opposition Beaten Percentage (OBP): The percentage of total opponents a horse has beaten at their last 15 non-team competitions.
  3. Avg Pens: The average number of penalties from a horse’s last 15 Table A rounds.
  4. Pen Avg Diff: How a horse’s penalties compare to the field, on average. Negative values are best because that means a horse incurs fewer penalties than their opponents (based on their last 15 Table A rounds).
  5. Clear %: Percentage of clear rounds from a horse’s last 15 Table A rounds.
  6. LE4 %: The less-than-or-equal-to-4 rate. This is the percentage of 0-4 penalty rounds from a horse’s last 15 Table A rounds.
